TEA, GARLIC, CITRUS FRUITS, POULTRY, AND OTHER FOODS THAT IMPROVE THE IMMUNE SYSTEM OF THE BODY

Being in good health void of illness or disease is not all about eating the most nutritious food you can find around. Sometimes, eating the quality amount alone ensures that you live life in pleasant health and wealth.
There are fruits which are specially designed by God to boast your immune function. As you might have known, the immune system helps to prevent the invasion of harmful organisms or materials into the body. There are two types of immunity which are: the innate immunity and acquired immunity.
The following fruits have been medically proven to boast the prowess of the immune system of the human body.

FOODS containing vitamin A: It has been proven that foods rich in vitamin A helps to improve the immune function of the body. Vitamin A is a vibrant anti-oxidant; it mobs off free radicals wandering around inside the body. Foods rich in vitamin A includes carrot, sweet potatoes etc.

GARLIC: Studies have evidently shown that garlic contains allicin which is a potent antagonist of infections and bacteria in vivo. A scientific research in Britain revealed that subjects who took garlic for a period of 12 weeks were immune to colorectal cancer at 30% rate. Whereas, those who didn’t garlic were predisposed to stomach and colorectal cancer.

FOOD CONTAINING ZINC: Vegetables, poultry meats, crabs, etc, contain abundant amount of zinc as their component. Zinc helps to control appropriately the inflammatory response of the immune system. It also tends to slow down the immune response to avoid damage to the body.

TEA: L-thiamine is an amino acid found in black tea and green tea, and they it helps to boast the immune system greatly. People who drank more tea for a period of 2 weeks were discovered to have increased amount of interferon up to 10 times in their blood.

FATTY FISH, FRUIT JUICE AND CEREALS: these sets of food contain vitamin D which is a powerful anti-oxidant that fights against germs and bacteria. Although, absorption of vitamin D is slower in some individuals, it is advised that they take more food containing vitamin D in order to augment for the slow absorption.

LEAFY VEGETABLES, CITRUS FRUITS AND SPINACH: Vitamin C is present in a large quantity in these foods. Vitamin C is a very common source for fortifying the immune system because it is present in many foods that we eat day to day. But taking leafy vegetables, citrus fruits and or spinach, gives a greater boast to the immune system.

SARDINE, BARLEY AND GARLIC: these foods contain a high proportion of selenium which is also a potent controller of the immune system responses to cancerous aggressiveness. Those faced with the challenge of cancer are often advised to take selenium containing foods such as Barley and garlic.
